KP, Maxi are not physical or strong defenders. Not blaming them. It is what it is. They are good help side defenders. When going against better teams our only chance is to get hot offensively.

this nonsense about only 2 starters is just that nonsense. When we went to the finals in 06 we had 2 decent big men defensively, several 2 way (mostly defense first) wings and Dirk/JET. In 2011 we had 2 decent big men, several 2 way defensive wings and some 3 point specialists.
The problems are that we have no Kidd/Terry to run the offense, Seth tries to be his JET as does Hardaway but we get no contributes from our wings except point chucks............ we shoot more 3s a game than we did in 2011 with Dirk/Peja/JET/Kidd as ranking all time 3 point shooters. DFS/Maxi and even Luka/KP are too quick to bailout the defense with 3 point attempts like Terry and Stevenson used to occasionally do and piss me off. We gotta work the ball for easy shots besides just "open 3s" because when we are going through brick spells, we need to attack the paint/defense and try to get foul calls, open mid range pull ups etc.

When an opponent comes at you super aggressively on defense, you have to get even more aggressive, and not go passive. It looks like the Mavs are trying to ramp it up a bit now.

 Props to a legend man even though you killed my favorite team(s) too many times to count!! Hurts everytime I throw somethin away yellin KOBE!! now but will eventually make me smile too
