Why would you not call timeout? It's not like we have a speedy PG who is gonna race the ball down the court. Even if Holiday hadn't poked the ball away, it was still going to take a lot of time for Luka to get past half court. Kidd is not good and he is a veteran coach at this point in his career still making rookie mistakes
