GAME 72: MIN (42-31) vs. DAL (44-28)| 108-110 WIN!
#41
14-4 in 4th quarter in FT attempts. I get that some of those were Dallas fouling intentionally at the end. But in fairness, the refs tried to give Minny 2 more but were overturned on a challenge. Gonna be hard to move up a spot in the standings if the refs are getting instructions to screw us over.

#4 Ref tonight was awful.  His nickname is 50 cent, because he gets about half the calls right.

Fun game.  Minny kept on grinding and almost left with a win.   Luckily the Mavs hit some timely threes.

Minny is a well put together team.  Their roster is not there yet, but you can definitely see the outline of what they are trying to build.   A few more smart moves, and they will have something.   They are definitely a team we will need to watch moving forward.

That's pretty good. He's not the only one though, LOL

The "kicked ball" with 14.7 seconds left in the game STILL looks like a KICKED BALL to me.

The NBA did manage to find two other situations in the last two minutes where the Mavs got screwed:

Let’s not forget the kicked ball. We were screwed by the refs most of the game. We got minny’s best effort. And Luka played terrible………..such a great win through adversity. We have a legit top 5 defense and the best player in the world. This feels like the “surprise” year that all time greats have where they do things much earlier than the mainstream expected

The "kicked ball" is up for debate. On the one hand I believe Russell intentionally put his foot there and caused the kick, but I can see the argument behind Luka accidentally dribbling it off of his foot.

But even still I don't see how the refs miss the free throw pump fake which should've awarded Dallas possession and ended the game right there, or the blatant hook on Maxi for the dunk, which again would've most likely iced it.

This report also doesn't even mention the refs staring at KAT out of bounds but letting it play on...

Minny got so many favorable calls. I'm glad the Mavs were able to overcome it.

What a clowny “review” that was. Sure looked obvious to me on the intentional miss that Beverly fouled Luka right after DFS fouled Beverly. That’s 2 INCs right there. Then on the KAT hook/drive/dunk he puts his off hand on Luka’s shoulder and pushes off, thereby assisting his own jump or at the very least warding off the defender.

Watching KAT use his off arm to clear out defenders is one of the most obvious nba cheats I’ve ever seen. Plainly he’s too slow to be effective driving but for the forearm shiver he’s using to clear a path. No way refs are not seeing it. Has to be something they’ve been told to give him leeway on. Guess the league must really need some Ws in Minny to keep the revenues flowing.

Yes, that was an astonishingly bad non-call.

How much time was left when that play happened?

EDIT:  I think this play happened with 2:23 left in the THIRD quarter.

You got the win, but that wasn't Minnesota's best effort and they still almost won. C'mon. Antman, and Russell had pedestrian games at best. Towns was ok. You might see a better effort from them on Friday at home. Dallas got double figure scoring out of 6 players, they weren't depending on Luka to score big. That's how you win games vs good teams.

Every player seems to have pedestrian games against us. We’ve shit down some top players for months now. I think the credit goes to the defense
