Heard somewhere he still needs 2 games to qualify for scoring leader awards, but haven't confirmed that yet.
To qualify for the scoring title, a player must appear in at least 58 games (out of 82). However, a player who appears in fewer than 58 games may qualify as annual scoring leader if his point total would have given him the greatest average, had he appeared in 58 games. This has been the requirement since the 2013–14 season, with requirements changing several times previously throughout history.
LeBron has played in 55 games so far this season.

Won’t surprise me a bit if the Warriors lose 3 more though with their woes and remaining road games:
Jazz
@ Kings
Lakers
@ Spurs
@ Pelicans
And they might prefer the Griz side of the bracket to the Sun side anyways.
The only teams on "the Griz side of the bracket" are seeds #3, #6, and #7 (and no team wants to be the #7 seed, unless that is the best they have to hope for at this point).
Do you really think the Warriors (who fought tooth and nail against the juggernaut Suns last night) would "LET" both the Nuggets and the Jazz pass them? Personally, I doubt that scenario very much (but, hey, stranger things have happened).

Is this your schtick? Are you trying to argue? No to the question as you worded it. Yes as to how it was worded in my post.

That Nets/Bucks game was a playoff game. Bucks prevailed 120-119. Embiid and Joker had a great year, but Giannis could win MVP again. He's unstoppable on both sides of the ball. He had 44 and 14 tonight after scoring 40 pts his last game. He's the best player in the game IMO.

I think so, too. Not enough note is being taken of how much he has improved these past 2-3 years. I remember when his offensive game was quite limited - it wasn't that long ago. In the bubble, tbh.

Pretty clear (imho) that the cream of the crop right now (in no particular order) is:
Giannis
Embiid
Jokic
Durant
I think those four are in a league of their own. Maybe Kawhi Leonard can hang with that group if he's ever healthy enough again, maybe not.

In what world does he think that's an appropriate comment...?
If you have a problem with how Harden plays, you tell it to him behind closed doors.

Throwing players under the bus is his thing. In the last two years we had "Playoff P" George and Ben Simmons. Next one will be Harden.

You're right. Just still shocked that he hasn't learned that this approach almost always is the wrong one. I don't remember him ever throwing guys like Rondo or KG under the bus when he was with the Celtics.

Rebounding might not be the most integral stat that contributes to winning, but Drummond would fill a need here. The thing is I'd like him as a 3rd stringer, and given that Boban has a lifetime contract, that position is currently filled. Therefore, I'm out on Drummond unless he's a vet min finishing piece sorta deal and we've solidified our starting 5 (and worked out Maxi's shooting).

I think I read that Doc was trying to say something different and not throw Harden under the bus. It certainly didn't sound good though.
The bigger question though is can Harden get back to being a top 10 player again. There has been some glimpses of his former self, but more often he doesn't look like the same player.

Not with Embiid in his way, no. I really don't think so. Just like with Luka, I think peak Harden needs open paint to happen.
The difference is that Embiid is 100x better than Porzingis and Harden is over the hill, so...I'm not sure "top 10 Harden" is what's needed. More like "make Embiid better Harden." Can they get THAT? No clue.

Memphis is a problem. They're without Morant, Adams, Jackson, Bane, and Jones and they beat a healthy Phoenix team 122-114 despite 41 pts from Devin Booker. The loss snapped a 9 game road win streak Grizz are now 20-2 without Morant.
