Hardens game is tricking the refs into calling fouls while Lukas is tricking opponents into fouling him though

Scoring pts either way.

I thought NBA TV carried the home team broadcast, have been very disappointed

Ok KP.  Wow.

Bully ball works best against the Mavs. Refs won't call all fouls, and all the free throws disrupt their offensive flow.

It's still a lesson they need to learn. Maybe they can overcome it in this one.

Lucky shot by Porzingis. Doesn’t make up for all those bricks.

This franchise has lacked a physical game, for many of the 20 seasons or so, I've been following..

Meaning... when our 'skill' is not effective, we don't have an alternative.. which is winning the possession game with rebounds, making the game ugly through physicality, stopping the team with good 1:1 defense.

We don't build that option into the roster, typically.

When we had that option and a great player.. we won a lot of games (I think that was in 2011).

We build with skill and players that make the right decision.  Does not work against every opponent every night... it can work a lot, but just not tonight, and not against this opponent...  they are too strong right now for us.

Clippers shot 21 more shots that the Mavs.

Games like today show how much lack of talent the mavs really have. Luka is covering up for all those mistakes by the front office in free agency

Ok, the Clips are 6-11(54%) on free throws so far.  Why on earth can't Rick see that we need to play much more aggresively and put them on the line?

See my above post about winning posessions.

Yeah, in 1 half, that is more than a substantial advantage.

Hard to win a war, when your opponent has 21 more missiles than you do.

Clips' defense, man....

But I think the team can only get better from here.

The rest of the team has the yips.  Too afraid to pull the trigger and it just allows the defense to recover.  Hate to bring in the football reference but it is like the old Seahawks secondary.  They foul every time to the point the refs don't call it every time and in this case it disrupts the flow offense.

I have been saying exactly this for years now.  So frustrating.  RC just doesn't seem to have the stomach for hard nosed basketball.

Can't get to the line, if you don't have the ball. Luka controls it, and it renders KP to just spot ups. He's seldom going to be fouled on those. He needs to drive to the cup more to create contact.
