Important to get out on a good start tonight. I'm hesitant to call the first game of the season a "must-win" because that's a little asinine. BUT, I think for moral and rhythm, getting a win (and a convincing one at that) can kickstart this team to get a strong start, which is all but necessary to make the playoffs in the West.
That and if the Mavs want any hope for the playoffs, they need to beat these kind of teams convincingly.

Bittersweet. Dirk isn't here anymore. That is crazy. And yet, we have two studs to build around now. I'm pretty damn excited for tonight. Hopefully we get a good showing.
