This is the night KP gets the TNT crew singing his praises.

Okay, Rick.  Well, the Mavs better hit shots from outside, and hit them all game long.

Looks like the Mavs don't have the yips tonight, at least thus far.

Curry bumped while in the air for the layup -- no call.

Nice die-of-shame missed dunk by KP. C'mon, man, you're 7'3".

I hate Trevor Ariza. Always plays way over his head against the Mavs due to his butthurt over the Mavs giving Parsons a huge contract instead of giving him a chance to raise his salary by competition. Sorry, dickhead. Not our job to be used by you.

Mavs are shooting 63% and made 10 3s.
Portland is shooting 67% and made 6s.

Only up 8 after scoring 45 points in the 1st quarter. Feels like no Mav can stay in front of his matchup.

Our efense is trash, but I really like our offense with KP at the 5

Why won't Wright take that ball on in to the rim?  He continues to drive in and then pass it out, when there is only one defender at the rim.

Delon's lack I jump shot really is a problem. Unfortunate, I really like the guy.

See, that's why I want Delon to take it to the rim!

Three straight layups by Wright!

He had the layup again and threw it away

Well, that was a convenient way for the refs to take points away from the Mavs.  Carmelo actually fouled Wright twice on that play, once before he gathered the ball and then bumped him again on the way up for the shot.

Maxi bailed out Wright on that one with the put back.

Uh oh, Mavs starting to brick shots.

Delon is really bailing us out with offensive rebounds, but Mavs can't make the second chance shots.

Better start making FTs now.

Wow, nice pressure by Wright forces double dribble by Dame!

Those missed free throws sucked but solid lead so far. Wright's energy and hustle has been the difference in the game.

Same as last season. Lukas FT percentage gets worse as the season progresses.

I guess the Mavs need to post up more.

Kenny just said Luka is a more aggressive version of the 6-10 Detlef Schrempf.  Dodgy

The Blazers look to have rather poor perimeter defense, so you can't go by this game.  Let's see what happens against teams with a stifling defense like the Lakers or Clippers before we make any judgements on this approach.

Luka over dribbling to start the 2nd half.

I love the double team on Dame!

How in the world did DFS screw that up?  Cost us a three pointer by THJ.
