They're expanding the deal and/or waiting for the KD trade to be finalized to finalize the Crowder deal.

Not that hard for them to do it that way.

It's almost like the new owner wants to show just how much he is willing to spend to win. Going to be hard to compete with Ballmer though. Or the Allen's in Portland. Or any of several other multi-billionaires.

Ishbia's pockets might not be as deep as Ballmer's. Nobody in the NBA's are.
But he can hold his own after reading up on all his assets. He's made a big splash that's for sure.
