GAME 52: OKC (16-34) @ DAL (29-23): 120-114 loss

Maybe tired. Finding another bigger wing to give him (and Maxi) some rest should be the priority if they make a deadline deal.

Eric Gordon and Theis for THJ and a first? Who says no?

Maxi, Dorian and Bullock are such black holes on offense that it really restrains on what our team can do offensively.

I like THJ but the combination of a season ending injury, mediocre performances and a big/long contract makes it hard to move him right now.

Uninspired first half.  OKC used second chance points and free throws to stay close.

Dallas offense slowed down the second part of the second quarter.   In a lot of ways, I hate when we start games and it is just Luka doing his thing and everyone watching him.  On the other hand, besides Brunson we have no one else who can create easy baskets.  Just really limited when we are down a scorer.

Mavs need to be careful here.   The longer OKC sticks around, they may be able to steal this one.  Especially if it close late and Mavs need to rely on their rotation players making threes while OKC is getting better looks.

Doncic with this foul-hunting is RIDICULOUS. Such a bad image for our team.

Feels bad for Brunson, haven't touched the ball in 4 minutes playing with Luka.

What a crazy good pass by Green

Luka playing the call every time but doesn't realize the refs won't blow a whistle tonight. This is when Luka is at his lowest IQ. Just makes no sense to me. Gets taken out of the game mentally so easily.

Luka is such a crybaby.  Get him a bottle and a bib.

Green has to take the jumper if he wants to stay on the floor. They are leaving him wide open. Going under every single screen.

He's right though. These refs are fucking ridiculous.

Two things can be true at once though. These refs suck ass. Luka gets his mental ruined too easily and decides to win the "get a whistle" game versus the actual basketball game.

Are Boban and Brown just mascots? Powell and Chriss combine for 3 rebounds. OKC has 22 2nd chance points.

And if you listen to the Thunder broadcast they are constantly bitching about missed calls against their team.  Shit cuts both ways, but Luka actively hurts his team with his antics.  He needs to grow up.

At least we both agree on this wholeheartedly.

Mavs are showing guts tonight, battling it out against a juggernaut NBA squad. The Mavs are without their star too, the unicorn. Clearly Dorian and Jalen need to be kept right here - building something special.

More than you know my friend.  Cuban had assured that refs will always swallow whistles when calling our games.  But in any games you have missed calls and bad calls.  Refs are also never going to make every call.  Luka's act complaining make an otherwise likeable kid/transcendent hooper very unlikeable.

Those OKC threes will be more difficult as the game closes.   With Luka back in now, we need to keep the ball movement and keep attacking.   No standing and watching.

Green needs to play through this. Learning experience for him.   Teams are going to give him those shots.  He needs to find a nice middle of taking the shots and also making nice passes.

Luka and his overreliance on these jump passes off his drives drive me crazy

This is one of the worst ref performances this year wow.

For all his greatness, Luka is really a poor fast break player.
