They were going to use Harrell or Kuzma and KCP to get Hield. Doubt that happens now. Wizards won that trade. Lakers need outside shooting. Westbrook is a great talent, but I don't see the fit unless he frees up LeBron from primary ball-handling duties at times.

Yeah. Wolves give up a 2nd in 2022 and cash for Taurean Prince.

Wow step away for an hour and things break up.
Rubio may as for a mental break after learning he is leaving Minnesota and heading to Cleveland. Poor guy seems to get stuck with all the bottom dwellers.
Lakers move is really interesting. Looks great on paper, but Lebron will eventually slow down. They need shooting and defense to fill out that roster.....we will see if they can find it.
Washington was in a tough spot. Westbrook was really good for them last year, but he sucks all the oxygen out of the room. It is tough to develop youngsters when he dominates the ball. Plus, you are always worried what happens when he slows down/gets injured. It could get ugly. So they get off of him but probably are still in the same spot. Washington wasn't going anywhere with Westbrook besides a first round exit. Their issue is they are probably stuck in middle tier with no way out and will eventually nee to move Beal sometime. They have some interesting youngsters, but no franchise changers. It tough to get out of that rut. You get stuck play 125% to good but not great players who don't really impact winning big games. Tough spot to be in.

It´s a great place to live. Might be even better than Milwaukee.

I trully don't understand this Plumlee deal. Charlotte took 25 mil salary of a very average center into cap space and just got a 2nd rounder for that. Sure there must be more moving parts...

Wonder if it’s basically determined that Kings really will clear space and hold onto Holmes

Can blame the Pistons for the one bad decision they made last season but they absolutely nailed their picks and signed Grant (had a lot of doubters and most experts thought they overpaid).
After the draft they will have a young core of
Hayes/Cunningham/Bey/Grant/Stewart. Looks pretty solid for a team that was trying to build around Griffin and Drummond just two years ago.

So "your" back up plan would be Plumlee?

Lol, who knows what the Hornets think when it comes to building a team. For as maligned as the former MBT was, the Hornets wish they could have had their success.

Would your plan be to only have one center next season? Cause they have none right now. They don´t need to waste time worrying to find a back-up center in free agency anymore and they got the 37th pick out of it. Charlotte is not exactly a FA destination, so I´d say they´d have to pay similar money for a free agent like Noel or Theis, IF they can convince them to sign there.
