Great night for the Mavs so far

Rockets lose. Grizzlies lose. Spurs beat the Warriors.

Hopefully the Mavs start moving up!

DP also needs to be recognized for his energy and some vintage rolls to the rim...

KP even though he needs to secure the ball.  THJ keeps the belt.

I went with THJ. Decent on D, good offensive performance. Second would go to Powell for his great effort. Can't give it to Porzingis, as he had some soft play in the fourth quarter that contributed to the Wolves getting back into the game, nor to JRich with the negative plus-minus.

I am not sure if handing out those belts after two very average defensive performances really sends the right message to the team...

It is nice Mavs won and we are happy. But I think there could be a lot to be said about the way they played for most of the game. Well, I trust it will be said tomorrow. Let them celebrate tonight Smile

THJ for his play on both ends. It looks like he has settled in to the sixth man role.

DP honorable mention for his energy, and starting to look like his old self.

And KP. Amazing 1st quarter, not so great late. But then, the entire team sucked in the fourth.

Yeah, it's so funny how things work.

Last season, he looked terrible off of the bench and great in the starting lineup. This year, he has looked a little better off of the bench to my eyes (small sample size). Roughly the same minutes either way, so he's still a "starter" in status. I wonder what the common thread is. Is it about the minutes he plays with Luka? Is there some other pairing that's key?

Lol. Another mistake from "great owner" Mark Cuban. You'd think a billionaire could afford to sign backboards in free agency that could defend without fouling.

Ya, I said in Discord that the clean block the previous trip up the court looked more like a foul than this one.
