Mavs finally coming up on a team dealing with significant absences. Maybe reinforcements are soon to arrive? Time to right the ship until they get here, must win game.

Vegas line opened with IND as 1.5 pt favs.....and now has flipped to Mavs 1.5 pt favs. I never bet, but I suspect the Mavs will come out with fire in their pants tonight. Will be super surprised if we see a half ass effort tonight from the Mavs.

Whats the injury report saying for the Indy? With Warren out and Oladipo traded (LeVert not available yet), they also lack a lot of their offensive options. It is basically Brogdon and Sabonis able to create. What's the situation on Lamb and Turner?

I remember Sabonis gave us a lot of problems last season as he is very strong. KP also looks much weaker this season, at least in the first few games.

Well, I'd hope not, as we're sinking like a rock in the standings!

Game Day!

Am I insane, (rhetorical) for thinking the Mavs can do it this time.  I think they can win.

Maybe Brunson can do something tonight in the way of hitting a few threes and setting some guys up for dunks/layups.

Why not start Johnson? He is playing really well.

Spacing. No one is even trying to guard him on the 3-point line. Not to mention that he had a few really bad turnovers in the last few games.

The first lone big starting lineup by RC this season. Lets see if this helps the offense runs more smoothly.
14x All-Star, 12x all-NBA, 1x MVP, 1x Finals MVP, 1 NBA Championship: Dirk Nowitzki, the man, the myth, the legend.

Defensively, yes. Offensively, he has played so poorly that he might have been the single biggest negative in the last couple of games.

Single game +/- is not a good stat but it comfirms your observation. -19 against the Bulls. Only Burke (-23) was worse. -20 against the Raptors. Worst among all players.

He has flashes where he looks like he could fit really well and offer some secondary playmaking, but other times thinks he’s Lebron for some reason, which is clearly is not...

Great start but Luka's knee makes me nervous.  Love using KP inside against those double teams.
