I always find it somewhat funny when people mention Isaac.
I love the idea of Issac. He's like Andre Kerlinko reborn with worse shooting. But the dude cannot stay healthy. We think Porzingis is bad? Here's Isaac's first 4 years.
Rookie year- 27/82: Was out with numerous ankle injuries that ruined his first year.
2nd year: 75/82: Had 2 injuries, a sore right ankle and a back strain. This is the year everyone fell in love with him
3rd year: 34/74- Bubble year. He was out initially with a PCL strain and a bone bruise in his left knee that kept him out the majority of the year. Then he came back and tore his ACL in his left knee in the bubble.
4th year- didn't play.
Of 310 games that Isaac could have played in, he's only played in 136. That works out to 43%. Meaning he's been unavailable 56% of the time in his short career.
Can he suddenly become healthy and a long career? Maybe. I won't rule it out. Do we really want to risk the assets it'd take on that?
