So Detroit is serious about trading up this year and they need more ammo.

Detroit sold the cap space for nothing, unless pick is heavily protected.

Yeah. I assume the Houston pick will be fairly valued, slightly overvalued even, because the Pistons want somebody in this draft so badly.

That´s easily the best thing so far. Rockets are done. Spurs aren´t good as well. Grizzlies and Pelicans are still not finished with the rebuild. Makes it a lot easier for the Mavs.

Houston traded RoCo to get some flexibility. Like MLE would get them equal value back...

They were happy to trade this years 16th pick for a 2021 pick.

Then the meltdowns started when they saw the protections on that pick.

....and a $13M trade exception. Maybe Silas is not that much into super small ball.

Then it would make sense to go

Harden
Gordon
Westbrook
Tucker
C

or even bigger. Move Gordon to the bench, acquire a starting PF with the TPE and a starting C with the MLE.

So far the Rockets demise has only happened on Twitter, not in the real world.

It only cost them RoCo to be able to do that. Great job! Smile Oh yeah, they also got 2021 pick.
