I don't really trust TrueHoop, but if what they're saying is true then the Mavs need to go ALLLLLL in on the Lillard+Kawhi pipe dream.
If they find a way to get their 2023 pick back, then their offer suddenly becomes relatively competitive.
I'd call NYK, and offer Brunson for 2023+Knox
Go to the Blazers and ask if KP+Maxi+Green+Terry+Knox with picks 2022/2024/2026/2028 and pickswaps in 2023/2025/2027
if thats what they want. If not I'd find a way to turn Maxi+KP into as many picks as possible and just to add on the pile.
James Harden, a player arguably better than Lillard right now, went for 3 unprotected first rounders and 4 pickswaps and some middling talent. That offer on paper is competitive.

Cmon Omahen, you should know first hand how Luka can take middling talent and turn it into something special. Now imagine Luka has Damian freaking Lillard as a running mate. Doesn't matter who's 3-10 at that point. Instant playoff team.
