Been saying this since Portland lost in the playoffs...his comments did not seem to be his usual lifer comments...
Josh Green is a top 5 Mavs player...

Don't let me dream. Lillard wanted Kidd as a coach, hugged Nico Harrison after his shot against OKC, wants to win .....

Get our protected '23 pick back from NYK (JB for our pick back);

Send '24 ,'26 and '28 unprotected 1st to POR;

Send '23, '25, '27 swaps;

Send any player POR asks and absorb any bad salary they want.

We're at least one year away from Lillard asking out. He's going to give them another chance to build around him, not to mention he has 4 years left on his absolutely massive contract.

Seems like GS thinks Simmons can play the Draymond Green role, same as some of us.

This scares the living Hell out of me, not going to lie.

Don´t worry, we´ll have THJ, Reggie Jackson and Nicolas Batum. Cool

How many non-3pt shooters does that team need? Butler, Bam, Iggy....

Would be nice if teams would show at least some kind of interest in KP. I guess Klutch sports is doing work but it looks like the Simmons market is a lot bigger than than the KP market.

I thought Jimmy Butler wasn't too found on Embiid/Simmons during his time in Philly.

Ben Simmons is a one man wrecking crew on defense. Young just hung 48/11 on Jrue "five 1st round picks" Holiday, so what´s 5 for 23 worth? If Tobias Harris didn´t suck donkey balls, the Sixers would be in the ECF.

Sam Amico said if he were the Cavs GM he would trade Sexton and the Kevin Love contract for KP (maybe with sweetener).    They don't want to give  Sexton a 2nd contract and they desperately want off the Love deal.

What do you think? Would you do it, if you were the Mavs' decider? I think Love's deal is one year shorter, but then again I feel like the future potential to move KP before he is on his final year is far greater than it would be with Love.

I suppose it comes down to how much you value Sexton. I like him, but I'm not sure it's a great sign that his own team doesn't.

I would take a chance on Sexton.    Sexton is just a 4 years younger Zach LaVine to me.   Also I think there is something to Love that can be salvaged on a better team.

And even if he can't be salvaged, I think as long as he's healthy he can give you about as much as KP did this last season.

I think I'm with you.

Sexton has bloated stats on a losing team, expects max contract, yet guys don't see him playing next to Luka but as a sixth man. I doubt young guys like Sexton are comfortable with a sixth man role at this stage of their career. Mavs also lose 7 mil of cap space. Under this assumptions, which I tend to think are correct, I fail to see why this would be such a great deal for Mavs. Maybe if there was Prince instead of Love or Cleveland taking more bad salary (Powell).
