I swear, if you guys spent a month in Milwaukee you'd all be singing a different tune. They should turn it into a giant prison, like the Kurt Russell movie "Escape from NY."

Believe it or not, Dirk actually really liked the idea of playing in MKE. It's like the #1 German city in America. He was tempted to stay in Germany when Dallas took him; I believe the original Don had to go over there and save him.

Is that right? I've never heard that. I mean, we all know about the Nelsons having to talk him into coming, and I DID know about all the German and Polish in Milwaukee, so I guess it's believable, but I have never heard that before.

Dirk's hesitancy to come to the NBA had nothing to do with coming to Dallas. Why make stuff up?
