2020-2021 AROUND the NBA: Archived
CP went down to. It's a game of attrition for both teams. At least Phoenix has Murray State legend Cam Payne, Smile

Do the Lakers have enough offense to score 80 points tonight?  Suns are blazing hot.

"For now, Memphis has the same option New York does to keep its powder dry and then hope to fare better in the 2022 free-agent market. That strategy, however, entails a series of high-stakes decisions on some of the Grizzlies’ most important players."

Where have I heard that phrase before?

In my opinion they have peaked (WCFs in 2019). Lillard is great but not a top 5 player. McCollum is a good 2nd option but not a great fit next to Lillard. Two small guards with mediocre defense sharing the floor. Supporting cast is solid but not good enough to for a deep playoff run and they don´t have the assets to upgrade the roster.

The easiest thing to do is change the coach. I think Stotts is gonzo. But I agree, it may be time to break up that backcourt.

Lakers need more bigs that cannot defend the pick and roll. Mavs are willing to help. Just need to find a way to match KPs salary. Let´s try a Caruso and THT sign and trade + Gasol.

Nurkic just destroyed the Blazers FO in the interview. Probably wants out of there.

Basically pouted his way out of Denver too when Joker started to outshine him.   Probably get his wish.  Only 4 out of his 12 million for next year is fully guaranteed if he's cut before July, and he's actively bad at basketball on both sides of the floor (at least in the playoffs).    Needs to go with Andre Drummond and check themselves into a museum for what NBA centers were like 15 years ago.   I still maintain KP for McCollum makes sense for both teams given their circumstances.

Don't see what ya'll see in Nurk. He's foul prone and always hurt. Might as well keep KP.

He was top 3 in the regular season in on/off impact.....AND was top 3 for the team in the playoffs. No idea what you are talking about here.
