To be fair. Most of his FGs were created in pick and roll sets or simple putbacks. He doesn´t even need to jump or get position to grab rebounds. Simply grabs the ball before anyone else can reach it.

I saw quite a few post ups, both before and after offensive rebounds.

I don´t really consider them post ups. He had an incredible deep position and basically could just lay it in. That´s obviously an incredible valuable ability but the Mavs did not run their offense through the post and rarely if ever dumped it to him in the post.
With him and Luka it was more of a delayed pick and roll where Luka gets deep in the paint because of Bobans screen and waits for him to roll. Once Boban has the ball anywhere within 5ft of the basket there is nothing any defender can do.
