Would make sense, yes.
However, Theis can actually really perform. He was the starting Center of the reigning World Champion. So I could see him stick in OKC (together with fellow german Hartenstein) and eventually helping them to have a deep playoffs run this year.

I'm disappointed in OKC here TBH. They're already in a very good position but they could have gone for a slam dunk by trading for Avdija. That would put them in an even better place to win the ring this season.

Just waived Theis. I’m not sure he'll be picked up by someone else now. OKC would have actually been a good situation for him...
