Time to get back to .500, hopefully, or it's gonna be a tough day around here!

Kyrie Irving (right shoulder strain) is now questionable to play against the Utah Jazz. He was not in on-court gear during the Dallas Mavericks' viewing portion of shootaround at Delta Center.

Kyrie and PJ out.

Big changes in starting lineup. Maxi, Lively and Grimes get the start tonight

I like it. If anybody deserves a night off at this point, it is Kyrie. And, that will give both Grimes and Hardy a chance to build off of the momentum they have going.

Starting Lively is something that should’ve happened on night one, in my opinion.

If Lively is going to start for a while, and I hope is, foul trouble must be avoided.

Luka creates an open three for the corner shooter, only the corner shooter was Powell, so it turned out to be nothing.

Gafford doesn’t look right. I think the weight he put on was a bad idea.

Mavs need a backup PG. Dinwiddie looks cooked. Hardy and Marshall just put their heads down and look to score.

What’s Barea up to?

Klay needs to play better. Make more shots, less dumb TOs. Defense is solid but offensively it’s time to let the early season-drought behind him and get to work.

Well, it’s a first quarter lead, but I can’t say it assuaged my concerns, really.

Din doesn’t have a lot of leeway for me.  He needs to earn playing time when he is on the court.  I am not seeing yet.  In fact, if he doesn’t get better, i would look for a replacement if Exum is going to be out a few more months.

Marshall does a lot of good things, but he is a frustrating player at times. Probably playing too much with the injuries.
