Game 11: Dallas Mavericks (5-5) vs. Golden State Warriors (8-2) | 9:00pm CST
Silver linings/positive outlook:

1) The Mavs are playing well during portions of these games against good opponents, just not for a high enough percentage of the games to win. It's not like they're getting blown out (except for the first one against PHX), and in fact, there have been numerous opportunities for them to give up in these games, yet they keep fighting. That, alone, is something they could potentially build on.

2) I never want them to lose, of course, but on the other hand, I feel like getting eliminated from this NBA cup thing early last season helped them a little in terms of the regular season grind. They ended up getting a couple of bonus games against bad teams that counted towards their record. I kinda sorta wish all of their losses were in these group play games, though maybe that's the misguided result of my hatred of change.

Yeah, the Pistons have won 5 games already. They didn't win their 5th game until January 24th, 2024 after that 28 game losing streak..Maybe they'll turn into the Lions in the next couple of years. Lol. The Lions are awesome.

^ Dan Campbell is awesome. Mike Tomlin also.

I tried to resist the NFL for so long but they got me eventually.
