Thompson makes two very good, quick passes on the move and great Jazz D keeps first Gafford and then O-Max from finishing. But, I liked the Thompson component of both plays.

Thompson is making good decisions on the short roll and in in transition after they run him off the line. Pretty easy to see the impact he's going to have on this offense.

I like how multiple ball-handlers are pushing the ball. I hope that continues when Luka starts playing.

Add in his ability to be a big plus in the short roll, I'm so excited for next season.

Grimes, Marshall and Thompson all seem to be able to push the ball in transition competently, Grimes at a quicker pace than maybe anyone from last year's squad, and make good decisions.
I'm liking most of what I'm seeing.

In good news Kyrie still looks like Kyrie
the drop off for guys his size can be so random and without cause. They just show up one season and suck

Nice little run there.
Intensity not really there but it is preseason. Look better when they are running

I know it's preseason but what the hell is going on with the officiating

The Mavs are spamming that dribble hand-off 5-out set. Love to see it.

Why is Luka sitting on the rim in that cheesy NBA “jump” commercial? Is it because everyone knows he’s got no hops?

Uh oh. That looked like a very serious injury for Keyonte George

Omax is not ready yet. Game has not slowed down yet for him. Also his hands aren’t great. Still a lot to like. Need to be patient.

I think he's improved a lot from last year, but yeah, very raw still. I want to see him hit consistent corner 3s. Feels like he barely takes those.
