We should definitely not play Luka, Kai and Gafford tonight. Totally meaningless game in terms of seeding.
Long time Mavs Fan from Turkey who wakes up in the middle of the night to watch the Mavs games.

Kyrie is gunning for his bonus this year. If the Mavs win 50 games he'll get 1 mil. If he plays in 65 games, he gets another mil.

Both are achievable tonight!

Luka also never wants to miss a Miami game because of the Slovenian population there.

I think the Mavs want to get to 50, then rest against Detroit and OKC.

Slight correction. Kyrie has 2 incentives each year. Both worth 1M each.

Play 65 games
50 wins (min 58 games played)

He can’t reach the first but needs to play one more game, currently 57 games played, and obviously the Mavs need one more win. Both of those achievable tonight.

FWIW, Miami played ATL last night and won a 2OT game, so they are definitely not rested. DAL probably beat them back to town.

I'm assuming that Mavs are going to play their guys until either the Mavs lose a game or the Clippers win one.

Running out the ground ball. Good point.

Green will get ~15 min PT tonight. Will be good to see. Lively will not play the rest of the regular season. Need him healthy for Game 1 in LA.

@GrantAfseth Josh Green is expected to play around 15 minutes against the Miami Heat in his return to the Dallas Mavericks' lineup.

@townbrad Lively will not play in either of the remaining regular season games, Kidd said. That was pretty clear given that he’s not practicing and the season ends Sunday.

@townbrad Most of the Mavs’ staff is wearing “Pravi MVP” t-shirts. I believe the loose Slovenian translation is “right” or “real.”

Luka needs 50 tonight to draw even in MVP race. Doable.

Gafford off to a rough start, defensively. Good decision to get Kleber in.

He did a job on Bam the 1st meeting. Pretty sure Bam hasn't forgot.

A couple of broken possesssions but it doesn't even matter because Kyrie bails them out with one difficult shot/finish after another.

Never been a fan of him for various reasons but it is impossible not to enjoy watching him when he is fully health and motivated.

Smart adjustment. Instead of running Luka-Gafford pick and roll THJ is screening for Luka. Bam can switch onto Luka. Vasquez and Herro cannot.
