Game 73: Dallas Mavericks (43-29) vs. Sacramento Kings (42-30)
#41
Solid finish to half. Mavs lucky to be down only 9. Kings are better than 9 points tonight so far.

Don’t like seeing Luka limp like that. Dallas needs someone beside Luka, Kyrie and Lively to make shots.

Kings are tough when they are active and moving that ball around. It is going to take a tough battle to win tonight. Let’s see if we can keep close and steal at the end. Doesn’t feel like a win though so far. Kings look better

Mavs need to start hitting open shots if they are going to win.

As long as we’re not playing without Luka, I agree

Kidd needs to give Hardy a chance tonight and see if can get going.

Defense has been pretty horrid.

Mavs cannot get a call.

Need the open 3s to hit or else we're in trouble. PJ has been horrific on both ends tonight.

Mavs came out the third aggressive on defense. Just can’t have all those missed free throws. 10-19 for the game

if mavs lose this, it's probably more because of poor free throw shooting than bricked threes

NBA has some crazy rules. Gaff with the clean block but hits Murray in the face on the follow through. That’s a reversible call?

Asinine to pull Luka during that run

Maxi shouldn't be playing tonight. He doesn't want to shoot either.

Hard to imagine but the Mavs are staying close. They aren't playing well but to be honest the refs are letting a lot go and the Mavs can't buy a bucket.

Luka doesn't have it tonight cause he's definitely hobbled. Kyrie looks exhausted but he appeared to go eat just now so maybe we can have 4th quarter Kyrie.

REALLY need 1 of THJ/PJ/Exum/Gafford/DJJ to step up and score. Mainly THJ or PJ. Really really bad games from them so far.

Keeping it close. Mavs had a golden opp though. Came out hard and Sacramento felt it. Mavs just couldn’t score though…sac deserves some credit too. May be tough to pull this out.

it's been a frustrating game but maybe just win the 4th quarter big time

Do the Mavs have enough in them for 1 big push in the 4th? If they can hit some shots they can make this a game. They are attacking. Gotta keep it up.

Maxi playing well. Keep him in the game. Seen enough or PJ and Tim tonight

Monk out. Sabonis and Murray with 4 fouls each. Maxi shooting well. Could be an interesting 4th.
