Game 73: Dallas Mavericks (43-29) vs. Sacramento Kings (42-30)

Gafford and Lively 3 makes no misses so maybe we feed these guys a lot more instead of focusing on personal stats with 3 pointers

Jesus Christ can we get some Hardy, when the others literally miss every open three. That´s when you need a Spoelstra level coach to make a difference. Puts in Hardy early. He shoots the 40% he´s been at the last 10 games, we are down between 1-4 points instead of 10.

Offense looks different when pj can’t shoot.

Kings look much more energized so far. Dallas had a good chance to bring the second but their passions were a miss on three, a miss jones three, a Kyrie turnover, another misss Jones three and then a Hardaway three.

Cannot have Luka out for 8 minutes of real game time. Ridiculous

PJ is just a terrible player

Mavs have better wings now but they just can’t really shoot. They’ll need to upgrade one of those positions with an identical player who can shoot to truly contend. It’s just the brick brothers tonight from PJ and 55.

No more pj threes tonight please. They are way off. He knows when he shots it to…going after the board. Let’s try some driving.

No what Kidd needs to recognize these moments and insert players that can shoot, especially when the other team basically packs the paint, doubles Luka and dares the others. Morris is the 3rd best percentage wise. Hardy is 5th. WTF is he putting Kleber back in this game. He doesn´t want to shoot and he can´t shoot. We need offense and he keeps running these non-shooting/non-playmaking line-ups.

I'm just not impressed with this Kings team without Huerter. Now with Monk injured, the Mavs SHOULD take over in the 2nd half and win this

I don’t know if the Mavs can take this one but they’ve stayed in it at least.

8 three pointers for the Kings, 5 for the Mavs at the half. The lead is those same 9 points. If Luka isn’t injured from that collision near the end of the half, Mavs in a good spot to steal this one. The amount of energy required to play that super aggressive D the Kings are trying to learn—don’t think they’ve got enough depth or enough legs to keep it up.
