Despite being small with a neutral wingspan. In that way, he has some similarities to JJB. Seems like a good gamble to sign him to a two way. He was productive for 3 years in college and is still 20 years old.

As a TCU fan that watched him for 3 years, I am pumped he’s a Mav now.
He is a strong and creative finisher around the basket. His biggest weapon as a finisher is just how strong he is. The size/length will be an issue for him and he will have to continue to expand his finishing arsenal and floaters.
I know his 2022-23 injury has been mentioned in some write ups and comments. The bigger ding was a wrist injury he consistently tried to play through in 2021-22. If you check his shooting numbers, you will see just what an impact that had on his 2021-22 season.
He is an outstanding pick up as a two-way and exactly the type of guy that’s worth taking a couple of years to attempt to develop into a usable NBA piece. I wouldn’t bet against a guy as tough and hungry as Mike.
