Is this too unrealistic?
THJ goes back home to Miami which I know he'd love and the Heat have had interest in the past. They use Lowry's contract to get a good role player and a reclamation project on the cheap.
Mavs come in and provide a place for Capela to be absorbed as the Heat have no use for him. They also can take Deandre Hunter and basically reset ATL's capsheet.
ATL then has Maxi as a defensive stretch 4 they've been looking for since trading Collins away at a cost controlled contract, and plenty of cap room.
Mavs are eating the most amount of salary here hence why no 1sts are included.
Another more splashy version would be:
MIA: Dejounte Murray+THJ
ATL: Maxi+Lowry+Jovic+Holmes+Highsmith+ Heat 2026 FRP+ Heat 2028 FRP+ Lakers 2025 2nd, Mavs 2 2nds.
Mavs: Capela+Hunter
Net trade remains basically the same, but the Heat get Murray. ATL gets the 2 firsts (which is the reported minimum they wanted for Murray), 3 2nds, plus some pieces to help them finish out this year and build around Trae next year. On top of resetting their cap sheet.
Mavs new rotation either way:
Luka/Curry
Kyrie/Green/Hardy
Exum/DJJ
Hunter/GW
Lively/Capela/Powell
I would love this trade as it keeps our first available in the summer and now we have Hunter+Green as a starting point to package with those 3 firsts for a star.
