I like the trade from cap standpoint.
The downside of course is that you're trading away THj's 18 PPG for a player that has knee tendenitis and misses a lot of games coupled with Ingles (in trade 1) who only manages about 5 points a game now and can't play defense. Trade 2 with Maxi pretty much sounds like a wash given that neither are very healthy. WCJr adds a few rebounds, but it still feels like more needs to be done before the trade deadline. Trading a guy who isn't healthy for another guy who isn't healthy is not that much of a trade even if the guy is younger and better.
I think I either need another player other than Ingles that can actually play in a trade, or if we can find some way to package Holmes instead of Maxi - which doesn't seem likely unless we add some draft capital.
As much as I would like to trade THj, I think we would miss him in the rotation and have very little to show for it in that particular trade scenario (except the ability to stay under the cap).
