Nope. In those 17, while the stats looked good, Wood was a combined -33, showing his impact was likely just on one end of the floor, while giving back more than he added. If we're using SSS stats, those show there's more to the story.
I wasn't impressed by that stretch because the competition in that 17 was way inferior. They only played 3 of the better teams in that 17 games, going 0-3 vs CLE, BOS, LAC. And that was the stretch when they mostly played the dregs of the league, with 3 vs HOU, 1 vs SA, 2 vs LAL (while they were still awful before their big trades), 1 vs CHI, 1 vs NO, 1 vs POR, 1 vs OKC, and with Luka having to do superhuman things to pull out wins against several of those scrub teams.
