A situational starter is not what Green needs to be. Kidd needs to figure that out. Multiple times he stated he sees him a starter down the road. I found the comment odd with how Green is playing.

I think everyone has noticed the same thing. Nobody wants to play in a slow paced system regardless of efficiency. The more everyone touches the ball, the harder they will play.

Including Kidd.  Stopped counting what I thought were not so subtle messages to Luka in Kidd's presser about pace and setting picks and such.

As to Green starting "when we want to go to smaller lineups"...not sure how THJ makes for an alternative that is larger.  Seems like Maxi or Wood of 'Big to be named later' is more likely to get the final spot if the idea is to go bigger.
