Bally Sports + is garbage

Who would have ever thought moving back from Minnesota to Texas would make it so much harder to watch my teams.

I'm not thrilled either but hate the illegal streaming sites more. And I'm not smart enough to figure out how to spoof the system so I can use the NBA site.

Beyond any logic. It´s cheaper and easier to watch Mavs games the further away you get.
Different state/network. Slight improvement. At least no blackouts.
Different country. All games. No blackouts. Much cheaper.

I think the best option for people in the US that know what they are doing is international league pass via VPN.

I live 5 minutes from AAC and probably wont be watching games that aren’t nationally televised.

The Bally app is doodoo.

VPN and international league pass has been the best for me.

I live in the boondocks (in Texas).  No reliable access to broadcast Mavs games...well actually...NO access to broadcast games.  I can get some on Youtube TV and that's about it.  So...I do what I gotta do...

Yeah...VPN and international league pass works...

Other than that it's Sportsurge.

I'm not an alter boy and don't profess to be one, so I guess it's ok...

I live in far east Texas. No DFW stations available on any cable or streaming service, so how the hell am I in a local market zone? There is as much info on Houston teams as Dallas ones here. But if I try to sign up for Bally Southwest on their app, I'm told I live in the blackout zone.

Bally used to be available on ATT, but now ATT and DirecTV have merged and no longer carry Bally. The NBA really, really needs to get its act together for RSNs. I know they get the big dollars from ESPN and TNT, but the RSNs are a consistent revenue stream during the season they are failing to maximize.

If you have issues with the streaming site's "pop ups" if on  chrome add an adblock extension.  If that's over your head then get either the Brave browser or Opera browser that have built-in adblock.  Makes things a lot easier and safer.  I use Brave on a laptop and amazon silk on firestick.  streameast.is works really well with firestick.

I always check the site of the opposing teams for available live streaming.  I watched a couple of the preseason games that way.  No, I did not have to leave a credit card number, but simply logged in via Facebook.

I don't understand all the talk about it being impossible to see the Mavs on TV. Nothing has really changed on my station, other than a different name on the channel guide.

You're right.  It's not just Bally.  I had little access to Mavs broadcasts BEFORE they took it over.  AND...it has actually gotten a bit worse.  So...once again...I do what I gotta do.

Seems like that's s a golden opportunity for some enterprising and knowledgeable group with adequately deep pockets.  Small change, I guess...

I have DirecTv Stream with a Dallas address. I get Bally Southwest. I stream it to my East Texas home.

Where you live and what your subscription options are in that locale determine whether there’s a problem. At my East Texas home, the only way to get it is to cut down my neighbor’s trees and subscribe to satellite.

Yep, but which Satellite provide is carrying it now days? Used to be ATT, but now they merged with DirecTV and I dont' see it in the channel lineup.

I'd be willing to pay for the Bally SW app, but it still says I'm in a blackout zone. 120 miles from DFW even.

Hm, so maybe I’d be blacked out even if I cut down my neighbor’s trees? Can you League Pass it?

What's sad is that it was easier in the late 80's/early 90's to watch Mavs games when I would watch the HSE network like scrambled porn.

International VPN was working but today started getting blocked for me.  Sad

Yeah...blocked for me as well.  I had to use Sportsurge as well.  It had a lot of interruptions, but better than nothing.

Thanks for the explanation.

That sux. You'd think the people who provide such services would be efficient at offering what potential customers are looking for.
