How to get KD to sign with the Mavs
#1
All we have to do is hire his mother to a front office job first. Hey, it worked for the Knicks.

Well we'd also need KD to agree to a buyout with the Nets because he's locked under contract with them until 2026 unless they trade him. That's why he had to request a trade to try to get out

So what we should actually do is a double agent thing and have our front office send KD's mother to work for the Nets front office on our behalf to get us a favorable trade or agree to a buyout

He's a very good player. But, no thanks. He's a cupcake mentally and the headache he brings isn't worth the player. He brings almost as much drama as Kyrie does. I watched his run with GS out here. He was constantly in the media because of the drama.
We didn't make the cut but thanks for all the support!

It is worth pointing out that KD is 34 years old and under contract until age 38 on a surgically repaired Achilles. He is not an easy character either.

If you get him, you better make sure you are ready to win immediately with your roster left, cause you do not have 18 months to build a championship roster around him. That basically means Phoenix or bust.
