No. Every Mav game will be available to you if you are a "local" 

On the website you can put in your zip code and it will tell you if you qualify. If so, you will have access to every non-nationally televised Maverick game this season.

As for HARDY, the Mavs don't have a deadline right now to do a deal. And they do have RFA rights on him next summer. It's hard to know if he can take that next step to playing with others, and feeding them too, rather than using possessions to get his own shots, but answering that question is key to any offer (or to none at all, and just letting it play out). This preseason he is still barely breaking 40% on shooting pct overall, with high turnovers and iffy defense.

I think that deal is kind of okay - I was on your side that he didn’t prove he could play a real role on this specific team next to Luka and Kyrie yet, but I like the number much more than the crazy amounts proposed a couple posts earlier from other users.

I feel bad for Hardy. That is a gigantic steal for the Mavs at 18/3 imho. A team option for year three, too. Moody is the same player and just signed a 39/3 extension with the Warriors.

Well, maybe not the same as Moody, but less than half of his numbers is indeed surprising.

Great deal.  He is more than worth that contract.  Playing with everyone healthy is going be tight, but he is an nba player who can still continue to develop or be used as a trade piece.

Compare his salary to max Christie.  Both have been similar.  Christie signed a 4 yr 32 million with a player option this summer.  I was afraid before Dallas made their moves that Jaden would look for a similar number.

I'm 120 miles from Dallas,  123 miles from San Antonio, and 200 miles from Houston...and I'm not considered "local" to any of those areas.  Every. Single. One. of those games has been blocked in my area on NBA TV, so basically I was getting about 30% of the Maverick games played.  Certainly no need for me to have NBA TV.  What is it called?...NBA Live--the one that costs an arm and leg?

I'm 35 miles from Waco.  During preseason I used YouTube TV to watch the Waco Channel with the game(s).  BLOCKED!

I don't have high hopes that Mavs TV--at $124, or so--will be any different.  I don't know if I'm "local" or not, but they're all blocked.  I'm not paying that kind of money--again--until there is some solid evidence that I can watch the games.

I have adequate "venues" that are much more reliable than the BLOCKED stations.  I'll use them for now.

I will continue to search for high quality legitimate ways to watch as well...though...

I do have a high definition antenna, but my wife won't let me watch the tv.  I'm King! in my household.  No way my wife can kick me around.  Funny thing:  my wife is 4" taller than I am.  My stepson is 16" taller than I am.  I live the life of a pygmy...

If Moody was a bad defender and terrible at the rim then this would be accurate.

In theory, I should be able to get a local channel, over-the-air. I purchased an antenna to try that out. Previously, those type antennas have not worked. This one has a booster, so I'll hook it up with my fingers crossed. If that fails, I'll bite the bullet and sign up for this streaming thing. From what I understand, the actual better-streaming-thing is not ready yet, and this announcement is for a current NBA-related streaming-thing. Do I have that right?

FWIW, Thusday's opener is on TNT, so the streaming app doesn't matter.

But I'm in NE Texas, so I'll probably pay the $124 to have access to most of the other games.

Did I see that you can re-watch, or delay watch, the game 30 minutes after the post-game coverage ends?

Yes, it was said that the stream channel will do a game replay immediately after. But there reportedly will be no DVR features as you watch any of it.

I pay around 150 USD for the full standard NBA league pass in Europe (all games, no blackouts at all). This year i got my subscripition via the NBA2k HOF Edition, which was a great deal, the game was like 20 USD via this package.

I see Luka Ky and Klay the 3 headed monster but with Lively taking a jump in status I think he may qualify as a 4th head to make that monster even deadlier. Now PJ as a PF is a little undersized but he is the designated defender and they never get the full credit for their 2 way efforts since offense is what the buying public wants to see. I still wish he was a bit taller. Omax and Naji should take some minutes off his workload this season and hopefully they excel in that role.

If Sharp had been a bit more refined enough to make a 2way player we might have invested some time with Lively and his blooming talents with the 3 pointer from PF and Sharp or Gaff at the 5. If we have to deal with a new threat from an up and coming team that we fail to address with the current roster maybe Sharp would have been worth keeping. Holmgren, Wemby, Edey and KP are all fairly tall for centers so it makes sense to develop one of those when you get a chance.

Gortman is clearly the keeper among those on 2 ways but if Brandon starts to show major signs he is breaking out then that is 2 guys at PG on the 2 way development squad and a team with Luka, Ky, Din, Hardy, Grimes, Naji, and Exum

You would think with so much talent there to fill in why not let Sharp take a spot and let Brandon find an opportunity elsewhere? Maybe they told him to not go far till they could see which of those 2 we want to keep. Brandon and or Jazzian and when they see a clear leader they can trade the other guy and maybe get another developmental guy to invest in and who knows maybe someone else in on their radar at 3rd string center.

In terms of needs for improvement - you can never have enough of big wings  I think starters are just fine as long as they play as they did last season. I would look to move Maxi for a more reliable big wing at some point, if the opportunity comes. Those guys are rare and usually expensive.

I'm kinda surprised he didn't take that offer. I don't blame the Mavs for not going higher. He better figure out how to shoot and score again if he wants to sniff 9 million per year.
