Just wondering...
He still tweets a lot! But other than that, I haven't seen him at all on Fish's new site. He did mention he didn't like the redesign and hoped for a more traditional forum but it's been radio silence since then.
The thing is, he did make an account here, but he hasn't logged on since September...

So, it doesn't change spending plans this summer. Then Rose expires for 2021 and creates even more space than if we had both Brunson and Jackson.
BJ Armstrong is agent for Rose. I doubt Dallas puts two players (not to mention two picks) in a deal without getting a prospect back (Khyri Thomas is an Excel guy). Jackson plays some PF, so not having an avenue to another player with some size (either from Detroit or some other deal involving Lee or our TPE) would leave Dallas a bit thin in the Big rotation. So, if something like this happened, the need for another bigger player becomes even greater.

Given how freaking low the market is on Drummond, would you do a Brunson+Jackson+Lee+2 2nd rounders (most likely GSW and any other) for Drummond+Rose?
I would say yes 100%. Unfortunately the money doesn't work, and a slight modification and a deal that I've been throwing around the last couple of weeks has been
Wright+Lee+Jackson+2 picks for Drummond and Rose. On the face of it, you're basically just swapping out Wright for Rose, and getting Drummond for the expiring of Lee and Justin Jackson. Mavs get Rose, who has been on a tear, and can play that lead guard off the bench and play clutch minutes. They also kill another bird with this trade, by reducing Powell's role and adding in a big center who's still mobile.
For all the warts Drummond has, that is about buying as low as you possible can for a guy who's averaged 16 and 16 the last 3 years. Plus if it doesn't work out, the Mavs really only lost out on Lee+Jackson, which isn't such an impactful loss.
Doubt the Pistons would trade their best 2 assets for that kind of package though, but you never know.
