This is the most difficult Dirkie vote I can ever remember. I have no idea who I will vote for.

This is definitely one where I am going to have to sit and stew and think about the results. I mean Brunson carried the Mavs near the end. Dinwiddie had some great plays in the 4th.

Bullock and DFS hit big clutch shots throughout the game and played fantastic defense. Maxi went 4-5 from 3 and was scorching hot. I mean heck freaking Josh Green stepped the heck up and hit his shots and distributed so well, and he was apart of that lineup that blew the game open in the 2nd.

Bertans also had a great game even with a spotty defensive effort (in my opinion!) win the last couple of minutes in the 3rd.

This is tough. Brunson is the leading contender though. Gets targeted and injured, comes back, and continues his amazing play. SHEESH.

With 7 guys in double figures, it's almost impossible to single out just one. Brunson was a tough powerhouse, Dinwiddie was clutch, Maxi and Bertans were draining shots, and DFS/Bullock anchored the defense with huge minutes.

But in a close decision my heart is with Green. 6 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals while playing great defense and raining 3's in a playoff game? This could be his arrival moment.

Haven't voted yet, and SD and JB were the offense in crunch time, but....

Dorian Finney-Smith shut down Mitchell in crunch time, got all the rebounds in crunch time and hit a big 3 late.
Not very astute ^^^^

Super close. JB, DFS, RB, Maxi, and even Green deserved it. But JB was clearly the focus of the Jazz shenanigans and he answered the bell.

Mavs  won the 2nd chance points battle 14 to 5.

Mavs stole the ball 10 times, but only had 3 fastbreak points to show for it.

Mas won the turnover battle with 8 to 14.

Utah shot 56.5% from the field overall, but the Mavs shot 43% from 3 (on 42 attempts).

I'm starting to lean towards Green. I mean the guy was 0-6 from 3 heading into this game and he stepped up huge hitting 3-5!! He also managed to throw some crazy passes to a bunch of guys spotting up with 6 assists. That's a HUGE turnaround from where he was at.

So many great choices but I'm going Josh Green over Bertans.  He made Snyder pay for playing that gimmick defense.  Sure the Dirkie could go to anyone but we should weigh it more towards the most unlikely heroes.

Yeah. Very nice playoff arrival. I figured he was done for this year. He's a good pick.

For you, those were the most important stats of your life.  For Dorian, it was Thursday.

This one needs the option Team Basketball for the Dirkie please. This was such a stick together and everybody makes plays sort of a game.

What I'm hearing you say is....

It's time for the award to be renamed to the Finney-Smithy
