The Chicago Bulls have reportedly discussed a trade that would send center Wendell Carter Jr. and the No. 4 overall pick to the Golden State Warriors for the No. 2 selection in the 2020 NBA draft Wednesday night.

Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer reported the news and noted the Bulls would target Memphis center James Wiseman if the deal were completed

According to Clutchdirk's quote, Chicago's play is James Wiseman, not LeCello Ball. 

That would be a coup from CHI, Wiseman is the #1 prospect by a long shot imo. But wonder why GS would pass on him considering they need a big, and Wiseman > WCJ (who is a good starter in his own right).

Yeah I read the quote. I don't think that's the play. Everything has been connecting them to a playmaker and out of the blue now they are in on Wiseman?And they trade a decent young center prospect to do it? Seems like a smokescreen.
