Who was the player of the game who elevated his game above normal to help the team get the win?

I actually have to think about this one. Luka's play during the 2nd and 3rd quarters is what really won the game. Reggie had a season high in 3s and helped keep us in it early on. Brunson has a really nice line though he did do a bit more of his damage in garbage time than I would like for a Dirkie

I'll give it to Reggie

Bullock was terrific, and Dallas is so much better when he's hot like that. But Brunson scoring 22 while matching Luka in rebounds (10) and assists (5) is going above and beyond to me. Great game, Jalen.

Luka did Luka things but I gave it to Reggie because I’ve been pretty hard on him this year so credit where credit is due.

Jalen Brunson did good things but those 10 rebounds is way above expectations. Great team win as well with Luka leading the charge and Reggie bringing the hot offense.

All three players on the Dirkie potential list are...potentialy worthy.

Luka was normal...with at least a double/double and 5 assists...but there's the rub.  This is normal, maybe even a little below normal for him.  It's not--I can't say fair--but the Dirkie is for who has elevated their game in the win.  Normal doesn't get a Dirkie--for Luka.

RB has the flash...with 11 3 pointers...but only 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and yes, 1 steal.  Flashy!...and a little above normal for him.  I still have a hard time giving out a Dirkie only for flash...but I like flash!

JB is in danger of permanently elevating his game to the point where he will get the Luka treatment.  Super hero...but no Dirkie.  Oh, but he isn't at that point...yet.  10 rebounds, 5 assists,  22 points.  If it hadn't been for the one turnover I'd give him the Dirkie.  Haa...just kidding.  Hell yes I'm giving my Dirkie to JB.  This little engine who could is turning out to be a streamliner...

I didn’t catch the game live but just watched it on replay.

Rudy Gay can really play (still). Davis Bertans was sensational without a single 3. Reggie’s shot looked as good as his doo looks odd.

Anybody else think Luka’s game starting to add some Charles Barkley elements to it? Watching him abuse Paschall in the paint made me think that.

Love me sum Mavs guards. But they’re frequently this good (Jalen’s rebounds the exception). Reggie’s shooting, though, was like from another planet.
