If we didn´t play in the worst division in the NBA, we´d not even finish 10th in the West. We are 5-0 against the drecks of our division and 5-9 against the rest of the league.

Minnesota about to be 11-10 now. Somehow it feels like we always talk about rescuing players like Lavine, Beal or KAT from shitty situations, when it feels like the one being rescued will end up being Luka.


After their 1-12 start the Pelicans are 4-5 over their last nine, they´ll probably fancy a quick B2B wins of the Mavs, too.

The team just isn't good enough and this is the year everyone in the league has taken notice. Second opponent that can score with high efficiency without relying on the three ball (unlike the Mavs). Cavs have 15 threes attempted vs. 33 for the Mavs.

And if we're talking pure talent, even the Cavs have a better roster. We are reaching that point every game where every opponent has the better roster, even the bottom-feeders of previous seasons

As bad as the offense is, the defense has been worse.  And that is saying something.  But when you have guys who can score at the rim and create in the lane, it opens up things.

Man, this team is bad.   I just don't see a route for them as the season progresses.    There just isn't much there.

When Frankie Smokes and Burke not playing like complete dogshit are the pleasant surprises in a season, your team might be in trouble.  Luka and his agent would be smart to start applying pressure to the MBT.

This is what happens when you prioritize the likes of Bullock and SB over Richaun.
This is what also happens when you worry about having to pay too much for the bigs and not worry about the talent of the bigs when there are clear upgrades.
This is what happens when you don't want to pay good money for talent like Lauri.
This is what happens when you overstock on 3 and D players but not addressing the main weakness of the team.
This is what happens when you settle for THJ, love the guy but that dude contributes absolutely nothing when his shots aren't falling.
This is what happens when you convince yourself Luka being strong and heavy is the better Luka when Luka is just fat and slow (although I admit Luka is adapting slowly, but still, Luka could have been the Superstar we know as opposed to the All-Star we are getting).


The only saving grace is dodging the bullet that is Lowry. But I do not credit the Mavs for that, they wanted him.
