And they STILL didn’t shoot very well, really.

“Nice pass!” says Harper, as Porzingis throws it right to a defender.

Nice defensive position from him, however.

DFS is such a force on defense.

GREAT pass by WCS. Good finish from DFS!

I don’t want to jinx it, but I feel like DFS has pretty much owned Paul George defensively tonight.

Mavs O when Luka gets doubled is really starting to come into its own.

wow...things look better when they hit their threes.

I need to eat some crow...maybe the best run by WCS this year in the second half.   Still think they need another big.  One that can make plays when he gets the ball in the middle of the floor when teams double Luka would be ideal.

Yeah, I think that has improved a lot this year, too.

On a somewhat related but slightly off-topic note, back to what we have been discussing all night, the threes are now dropping, but the ball movement is also better. I honestly cannot tell which is the chicken and which is the egg, but I have a hard time believing they are not related somehow.

All hail the god king DFS!

When Kleber is healthy and playing well defensively, this is a different team.

KP's D in this 4th quarter has been REALLY good at times.

To be honest, I think he has been pretty good defensively during this whole stretch, right up until he has to face a spread pick and roll offense.

I have really enjoyed his rim protection at times when he’s able to get to paint at the same time as the ball. There is no question he is trying harder on defense this year.

I think I would have preferred that Kleber make both of those free throws.

Just terrible.  Mavs played with their food down the stretch.   Maybe it is not fair, but it is the difference between Mavs and PHX.  PHX gets good shots down the stretch.  Mavs had some poor late possessions.
