To add to this conversation, you can't look at how this team has played over the past month, sans Luka, and and say they aren't playing a better brand of basketball and are doing so because they are hitting shots. This all started the moment his went out after the initial ankle roll that had him out a while. We saw the increased ball movement, the defensive improvements etc., and we saw the ball move far more than when Luka was playing. Some of that was out of necessity, but its simply a better brand of basketball.
There's no question that Luka is great but he needs to understand when to slow the game down and when to step back and let the offense flow. It'll reduce his workload, saving him for end of games and the playoffs. It'll acclimate the role players to moving without the ball and improving their own contributions and confidences over the season and it improves the trade values of the players you have overall assuming the latter is true and successful.
It's a win win all around.
No doubt. Thank you. There are benefits to getting everyone involved. The trade value is big and so is confidence to do something with the ball in playoffs. Luka ball retards this. Sorry bout it. Yeah I said it.
