This move also shows why Mavs need a GM soon. NBA doesn't sleep and wait.

True, though it is VERY unusually early for a trade.

I am also struck by how much BOS paid to get off Kemba and their OLD player back.....WOW. What a failure of a couple of moves by them.

So Kemba can't be traded again this summer right?   That's a huge sigh of relief for me as a Mavs fan.

Also a sigh of relief for me....but having Donnie and RC gone I was already confident that the Kemba love went with them.

Oh my. How does this compare to KP?

Contract for contract KP money is higher, correct or no considering possible trade kicker?
More years.
Probably a more desirable player.. probably?
Thank you Donnie.

I'd rather take my chances on KP improving back to his 2020 level of play than having anything to do with  Kemba or Horford.

Sam Presti strikes again... He, Ujiri, and Riley are the best in the business.

I agree. But as far as a comparable for KP’s value, I think Kemba was pretty well speculated to be 1:1. I don’t necessarily think that is the case, but I am wondering what others think.
Thank you Donnie.

Does this mean we will have to add an FRP to move KP?  And now we are down to 2 possible trade partners.  Also, was wondering if Rick approved this trade already, hahahaha.

After reading more of the board - I now hope Rick ends up as the new coach in Indy.

Nooo bye bye Kemba and Horford. Two KP trade possibilities now down the drain...we may have to settle for the Kevin Love option in a few months if the new GM can't find any takers

I think he can be, just not agregated with other players

Presti receives another 1st round pick to rehab a player's value.  Like I said, I dont think he is going to give up picks to pick up a rehab project like KP.
