Furthermore their attempts to trade Bledsoe signals some 2021 free agency intentions. The decision to trade Lonzo, because they don´t want to pay him can easily be separated from the Bledsoe situation. The Pelicans are in no financial logjam next season with roughly $85M committed in salaries, so the attempt to trade the "virtually expiring" contract of Bledsoe NOW desperately points to max money targets this summer.

I have to admit, the thought of having an entire 3-big rotation comprised of shooters has got my head swimming a bit.

And maybe some others about whom info hasn't leaked.

That's where his athletic gifts will truly cause havoc, imo. Defensively, he has been a disaster there so far, but if it were my team I'd just bite the bullet and declare that. Get the lumps out of the way.
Zion seems he is at his best when he has the ball in his hands and he's just blowing by the first defender and helpside defenders are bouncing off of him like a pinball on the way to the hoop. For that reason, I really don't think he's a great fit with Ingram, who is also ball dominant for a 4 and can't really play perimeter defense. I'm also not sure that Ingram likes playing 2nd banana.

The spacing would be awesome but the other thing that attracts me to Markkanen is he seems like a very good pick and roll/pop guy. That’s why I think he would fit so well here. He can score at every level and him and Luka can run a true two-man game. Basically the exact same reason I like John Collins so much. Markkanen would just cost less.

Yeah, I've heard a few people with that opinion. I haven't watched them together enough yet to know. Matchup wise, though, I LOVE the idea of getting Zion matched up with 5's though.

The Mavs just don't have the assets to compete with other teams in trade.

That´s a good front office in Chicago. They already get the replacement in early. That´s how you plan ahead for the Lavine exit to Dallas.
Blazers might want to generate assets for another deal. More likely they just know they can´t pay Trent Jr. in the summer and try to get what they can. Though Lavine, Valentine and Trent are a lot of "shooting" guards.

Interesting deal for Denver. Depending on what they give up, they look to have had a good day. I assume RJ Hampton and Bol Bol are gone right?

Ross is probably on the market too, but I don't think he would be useful for us.
