Man there is a logjam I think getting held up by 1 or two teams and the dam is going to break. One of those teams is the Raptors. I want to see some trades! All we have is talk and rumors.

I think their impatient ownership saw their recent 8 game winning streak and thought "Why would we change this roster now? We're the 4th seed!" or something like that. Unfortunately I think that winning streak is fools gold and in 2 weeks time after the Hawks face GSW x2, Denver, PHX, SAS, NOP x2, and Memphis, they'll be back at 11th and 5 games under .500.
At that point their ownership will be like well why didn't we do anything at the TDL????

Are we sure Drummond will sign with a contender?
Or will he go to the best team to highlight his skills, get big minutes and get another big contract in the off-season?
Maybe the Lakers can provide both but once Davis is fit Drummond won’t be playing many minutes in the 4th quarter.

If the Lakers trade Montrez then there'd be plenty of opportunities for Drummond. I think he's on his way to Tinsel Town if he gets bought out.

Count me in on Sabonis, McDermott, and Turner
I love Brogdon but his injury issues are a concern at that salary and I want no part in another high salary piece with injury issues.
Sabonis and Luka pairing would be lethal

Trying to put some rumors together, what do you guys think about this trade: https://tradenba.com/trades/aKeRQ7tIM
DAL: Bledsoe/Oladipo/McLemore+NOP 2nd
HOU: James Johnson+JRich+NOP 1st
NOP: Josh Green+Burke+Terry+ 2 DAL 2nds
Mavs get a 3rd "star" player that theoretically fits well next to Luka/KP. A more souped up version of JRich in any case. They also replace Burke with Bledsoe and grab a capable, but having an off year, 3pt sniper in McLemore.
It's a shakeup since the Mavs are sending out 5 players including a starter, but they get back quite a bit too.

What if the Cavs get in on the Lowry deal.
Cavs get Onlynyk and Dragic (could on trade him to Mavs)
Miami get Lowry, 2 filler players
Raptors get Robinson, Drummond and a lotto protected Miami 2025 1st
Raptors have had big issues at Center this season.
Gives them 30 games to try out Drummond.

This, if we can get a 2023 draft pick from NO, it means we just reloaded our draft assets after this year draft and be back in business whenever someone request a trade.

Grizzlies, Suns and Nuggets lost. Spurs are down 20+ against the Clippers with less than 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Great day for the Mavs.

I think it is just too many buyers. Competition for every available player and sellers just waiting till final minute for the best offer.
