Shoot what happens when Cooper is scoring 28 and Kyrie is bringing 25 a game plus Morez Santi Tarik Sergio and Risacher are all scoring 10+ with PJ, MAX, and NAJI almost doing as much. The mavs offense is going to be a monster that teams cannot stop and if we need to slow it down and play defense we still can add in our 3 headed center. I know Gafford is who a lot of people like most but Lively will be back and personally I think that Cisse is as good or better than Gafford. We improved the teams glaring weakness from last season the 3 pointer is back and if Cooper improves to his normal level from college we are solid and Tarik is going to be special along with MAX and Risacher and if we need to keep Klay then he is here cooking from 3 still

Then 8 9 and 10 that is PJ Max and Naji so even if the Lively Cisse and Gafford center rotation can't do crap because they stub their toes that won't matter one bit because they are not even needed in the top 10 rotation anyway. Everything we get out of them is a bonus as far as I am concerned and by the TDL we are going to maybe see more new faces.
Sergio could be Irvings understudy or it might be Sasser one of them is going to do that job and be good at it there are 2 to choose from not one. I like those odds. If Naji is needed as a ball handler that is 3 to choose from. However I want and I think that Sergio is going to surprise us by mid season because he is going to show up as someone that can do that job. That is a good deep rotation guys we are going to see some really good basketball this year.
This team is going to be so much fun to watch! Im getting 2001-2003 Mavs vibes based on the roster construction. The difference being that this team has an elite center rotation.

Marc Stein: The Magic are hiring Josh Broghamer away from Dallas to add him to Sean Sweeney’s first coaching staff in Orlando, @TheSteinLine has learned. Broghamer was Cooper Flagg’s summer league coach in July 2025 and ran Flagg’s pregame workouts last season as part of Jason Kidd’s staff.

Jesus… Let’s hope he doesn’t revert back to his flat earth ways - I almost forgot about his antics before he became a Maverick.

He’s entitled to his opinions.
I’m sure lots of NBA players have opinions we’d disagree with.
The only difference is that he’s voicing his.

I don't see anything remotely controversial about what he stated. In fact, I agree with him.

If you study the history of slavery it was horrible and you need to look at that time and realize it is still around and alive in countries far less spiritually evolved. What do we do we fought a war to end it and still it exists look at how many never learned from the error of those ways and they still justify its existence with their religion. Hatred against people is the cause of the evil crime that is slavery and we must end it all so that only love rules in all hearts with no room for hate and evil to exist among us any more. When you live with the philosophy that you must avenge the past it is silly because there is no true way to do such an insane thing. Forgiveness and forgetting it is the only way except for those who still promote such evil and live with it as a business in which they profit to this day. Human Trafficking is the greatest evil in the world today and it is allowed and promoted in secret with its ties to militaries and elites who participate in it as a way to profit. Study the history of the British drug trade and how they sought to control it and how MI6 and the east indian trade company was involved with opium and heroin to enslave people to drugs another form of slavery that the CIA is still perpetuating in our own country. Remember when you do drugs you fund this evil for it is the drug industry that has also expanded into human trafficking. Look at who created the OSS and see how their family fortune was made in heroin and how they had family in Britain and had the OSS get trained by MI6 to act as the outsourced military muscle for the British. When you fail; to learn history correctly you cannot be counted on to have any say because only those who know and study it can be the ones to lead a nation to avoid the mistakes of the past. THe tangled tales of evil are far too complex for less educated to try to make sense of and when you do begin to gain a sense of history expect your world to change and to realize you knew absolutely nothing about reality and all because you lacked a true understanding of the past.

Don't shoot the messenger. I mean, why does he have to make his feelings public knowledge? Just keep it to yourself. Same goes for politics.

That‘s not the point, I just prefer him staying fully focused on being the best basketball player and leader for the Mavericks for the next couple of years.
Can go to politics or become a musician or do whatever afterwards. But please not right now, especially not after all these super controversial things he’s shared in the past.

Lets like not talk about politics/slavery/geopolitical climate in the Mavs News thread.
I think that goes without saying.
ROTW is there for you as a free for all by all means, but not here. Going to delete further posts about it. I hope you understand why.

The NBA is a Nellie-Ball league, because of Don Nelson. At least on offense.
