I don't automatically hate it, but moving down 17 spots is a bit steep for just 2 2nds.


Either that's a commentary on the level of players remaining or the Mavs really didn't want to give another guaranteed contract to a forward.

Sources: New York traded No. 25 pick Sergio De Larrea to the Dallas Mavericks for No. 30 Koa Peat at and two second-round picks. And then the Knicks traded Peat to the Phoenix Suns for three-rounders and cash. So Knicks move out of the first round -- pick up 3 seconds and cash.

Got to be honest, after spending months on this draft i leave tonight underwhelmed. Does it mean anything or do I know anything?  Probably not.  Though I leave with more questions than answers

They basically must be win now mode. Trade TPE for Monk. Sign Simons MLE. Make a trade for another guard like Norman Powell or Tyler Herro. What else could the plan be? Surely they can´t slow play it now, when they only added ONE young player in the off-season.
