Philly gets incredibly lucky with Philon falling to 22.
But I have to imagine he's a little pissed. Not only for losing out multiple draft slots, but he has to play behind Maxey.

Philon with Maxey? Wasn't expecting that.

Fills a lot of needs on both teams.
It'd be a great trade for both teams.
But truthfully it'd really suck giving OKC PJ.

Might as well grab Zuby or Jefferson at #30 and enter the golden age of vision 6'9. Just need to get the ball past half court.

I might cry if that happened...with JOY
Interesting theory. I've read OKC had to move up to 16 to keep someone else from getting Stirtz, but he makes no sense from a needs standpoint. Could also be Topic outgoing.

Tinfoil hat, what if one of the stipulations for May to take the job was the Mavs had to draft Johnson

Well now it looks more like my prediction that #30 is in the dead zone of this draft becomes true. 23 to 25 will get some guys and then it gets thinner.

And ran an archaic offense with Kidd.
I think Kyrie+ Flagg 2nd leap will help a lot offensively.
Too bad that won't be a factor by the time this team has any chance of contending. Replacing Kyrie was already the biggest challenge of the team, but now they also have to find a number 3 on offense long term.

ATL taking Zuby, so no Gafford trade there.

Sources: The Atlanta Hawks will select Zuby Ejiofor with the No. 23 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Hawks going with size.

No chance. Cason worth way more than PJ.

Ejiofor to Hawks. That was one of Masai´s alleged guys. With the Gafford rumours always swirling around, I´d say there is still a chance.

If Carr makes it to 30, which I highly doubt given Cavs or Brooklyn would probably be interested, that almost has to be a no brainer right?
Baylor dude. 6'5 combo guard with freakish athleticism?

Burries is probably not a Robin, but they need a number 3 scorer long term and don't have that. It will be a long road to get enough quality offense (players that have the defense to operate in a starting lineup).
I would throw a lot of last year out. So many teams including the Mavs were trying to tank. I always felt their defense was weaker.
I don't disagree that any team can use more quality scoring but if you think finding quality switchable defensive wings is any easier, than we just disagree. In fact, I feel the latter is much more difficult to get.

Probably have to yeah. But I think Peat and Carr will go before 30 and then I´m not sure anymore. I probably like Thomas, but if we go for upside than it´s probably Baba.

I'm starting to look around and wonder who can be had in the summer.
Do the Mavs target a former Masai guy in Norman Powell?

Just spitballing names, mathurin is Canadian. He went to Arizona (Schmitz) and wants a big payday.
The the clippers draft I wonder if their is a trading partner for Dallas is Dallas liked. Supposedly the old regime did not like him.
Not a point guard but a scorer.
