2026 NBA draft thread
We swap Gafford + #30 for Risacher + #23. Then trade Gafford again to the Lakers for #25. They never know. Silver only announces the first trade after the 30th pick. We broke the system.

I loved Hannes interview. Going to be trying to get him on the Mavs for years to come now.

Masai wanted to draft him, but he was afraid of KL's reaction.

But OKC probably called our bluff, they knew Mara wasn't our guy, and neither Bucks or GSW were going for him.

Yup nobody blinked. Every team got who they wanted.

Good. That´s the first reach that should help our guard chase.

I agree. Yeah it takes two to tango. No need to throw away #17

We could always trade Lively to the Lakers.

I get it.  But this just cements how long a road its going to be for this team to think about contending.  It will be past Kyrie timeline.  On one hand it makes more sense to trade kyrie to build long term, but on the other the offense will be disaster without him.  I hope there is a lot more to come.

Farmers boy that grew up in Wurzburg. Guy is basically the son of Larry Bird and Dirk Nowitzki. Tongue Genuinely think he has a chance to be special. I´m bummed we could not get him, too. Frontcourt overload be damned.

I don't think this is that big of a reach, either. I like Swain a lot, and this is a decent range for him.

Interestingly, I believe Flemings is the only pick that's been made so far where size wasn't a prioritized criteria.

Ooof...Stritz off the board to MEM. Here comes the 2nd run on PGs...if Dallas wants one, they'll need to make a move soon.

Multiple teams had been trying to move up inside the top 12 to grab Johnson, and now he adds immediate energy and depth for Dusty May's new squad alongside Cooper Flagg.

Never doubt Mike Schmitz and Masai Ujiri!

That seems awfully low price for #16. Is #17 involved too perhaps? What will OKC do with all the picks?
