If Morez can develop a reliable outside shot being able to run Coop and him at the 4/5 is going to be amazing.

The key is his multi-positional flexibility.  All three of Flagg, MoJo and Lively at times, but any two of them will also work...especially if either (or both) of MoJo and Lively start hitting 3's at a high rate.  All three on D is just incredible.

He’s definitely the best potential Wemby defender in the draft. Not a bad one to have given Wemby’s possible dominance the next decade.

We already have our Wemby defender. Just need to get and keep him healthy.

We're all just disappointed because he's a defender. Veeerrrry little offensive game, and coming to a team desperate for an offensive face lift.

I think his offensive profile will surprise us.

Any two of them on D is amazing, frankly. That's 48 minutes of amazing defense, which is the lead, for me.

To those who are upset, the real issue is Kidd and the previous regime having no clue and teams having more talent than the Mavs knowing how to tank properly.  It was literally only Burries left and if the front office were not sold on him, you can't blame them for going in another direction.  It's not like they had a plethora of choices and went and selected someone else randomly.

Also add that it takes two to tango so the right trade down opportunity may not have presented itself.

Cooper's 3pt% increased as the season went on. I think if he can be a 35% 3pt shooter thats enough for that to work. 

PJ can hit a 3. Just had a down year.

Naji is the odd guy out imo. Hopefully we sell high.

So OKC gets Mara after all. I guess they all had a staring contest and nobody blinked. Basically ever team gets the player they want without trading, including the Bucks with Ament at 13. Hornets probably take Steinbach at 14. Memphis takes Philon at 16. Only got no feel for Bulls at #15?

After 5, teams don't hope for Robin/Batman. And a lot of times it is the reason they get one.

Teams win with depth now, if Morez can be an important winning peace, he is a good pick.

Sure but is he a more talented basketball player than PJ? I would say no. Little to no ball skills, wingspan is fun but he is not tall for a C and his outside shot hasnt been great at the college level so he might muck up your spacing if you play him at the four.

I don’t think he is a lottery talent to be quite blunt.
