OTOH...maybe this guy CAN make it to #9??
I sure hope so. I'd be THRILLED with a Flemings pick.

Don't let the following sound like asking out a girl, getting turned down and then going, "Well she's ugly anyway." But even before the Lottery I was starting see potential bust flags about the top four.
Yes, I can see Dybantsa as a star, but I can envision a world where becomes a one-dimensional scorer. Yes, I can see Peterson being an elite scorer, but I can also see a Michael Beasley scenario. Yes, I can see Boozer as a smaller Jokic type of offensive player. But I can also see him being, well, his dad. Yes, I can see Wilson slowly becoming KG, but I can also see him just as Marvin Williams. And, just like 1996, I can see a world where we look back and realize that the best players were later in the Lottery. So I feel good knowing that the Mavs have a real scouting department and not just Cuban winging it. So I'm not as depressed as I would've been had the Mavs struck out last year.

Well height and reach don’t determine who can play or not, but some great numbers for teams who don’t want to draft a guard in lottery.

I could see someone like Atlanta going for Mara's immediate impact. I think he's going to get some buzz with those measurements.

Stirtz is smaller that I expected, and Philon didn't impress either.
